Samsung Galaxy A series has been one of the top-selling series for Samsung. The Galaxy A-series smartphones have also been among the hottest-selling Android phones since the past few years. Industry sources have told Times of India Tech-Gadgets Now that Samsung is set to expand its Galaxy A-series portfolio in the country. The company is likely to launch two new A-series smartphones in the next few weeks.
The new smartphones are Samsung Galaxy A04 and Galaxy A04e. From the name, it appears that Samsung Galaxy A04e will be the slimmed down version of Galaxy A04. Both the smartphones are likely to be priced under Rs 10,000. Speculated features of Samsung Galaxy A04 and Galaxy A04e include RAM Plus feature, with support for up to 8GB RAM. For those unaware, RAM Plus feature allows users to add virtual RAM storage to their phones as per their usage. This ensures that apps run well and multitasking is smooth. Galaxy A04 and Galaxy A04e are likely to be big battery smartphones. The upcoming A-series phones will boast of 5000mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy A04e appeared on Samsung’s media assets website earlier this year. The company, however, did not reveal where the smartphone will launch. As per the details of Galaxy A04e that appeared on Samsung’s website. The affordable smartphone comes in three color options: blue, bronze, and black. It boasts of an Infinity-V display cut for the selfie sensor. There are two rear-facing cameras next to the LED flash. The phone has a polycarbonate unibody design. The processor that will power the upcoming phones is not known so far.
Samsung Galaxy A04 and Galaxy A04e will succeed Galaxy A03, the first A series smartphone of this year. Samsung launched Galaxy A03 in February 2022. The smartphone comes with 6.5-inch HD+ display along with True 48MP dual rear camera to capture sharp photos with Live Focus. Samsung did not reveal the Galaxy A03’s processor. It just says that the phone is powered by an octa-core 1.6GHz processor. Galaxy A03 phone has up to 4GB RAM and supports 5000 mAh battery and Android 11-based One UI Core 3.1. Samsung Galaxy A03 launched in three colours – black, red, and blue. The phone is priced at Rs 10,499 for 3GB+32GB variant and Rs 11,999 for 4GB+64GB variant.
